It doesn’t take deep insight to see that our world is broken. Even a child can sense that something isn’t right. War, poverty, sickness, and suffering affect every nation. Our bodies wear out, our systems break down, and death touches us all. But the good news is—this won’t last forever.

God has promised something better.

He has promised a kingdom filled with righteousness, peace, and joy. A kingdom where war ends, where justice reigns, and where even nature itself is transformed. Scripture tells us:

“In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together;
the leopard will lie down with the baby goat.
The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion,
and a little child will lead them all.
The cow will graze near the bear.
The cub and the calf will lie down together.
The lion will eat hay like a cow.
The baby will play safely near the hole of a cobra.
Yes, a little child will put its hand in a nest of deadly snakes without harm.
Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,
for as the waters fill the sea,
so the earth will be filled with people who know the Lord.”

Isaiah 11:6–9 NLT

This is the hope that God gives to a dying world: a coming kingdom where sin is defeated, death is destroyed, and all things are made new. This kingdom will be ruled by a King like no other.

Who Is This King?

This King is Jesus—the Savior promised from the beginning, the Son of God, and the Son of Man.

“She will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21 NLT

“The Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.”
John 1:14 NLT

“Then I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.”
Daniel 7:13–14 NLT

Jesus is the King who lays down His life for His people. He opens blind eyes, unplugs deaf ears, and lifts the poor and needy. He is the fulfillment of every promise, the desire of every heart, and the One who brings abundant life.

The Mission of the Church

The Good News of Jesus is the only hope for this world. And God has entrusted this message to the Church:

“Jesus came and told his disciples, ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.’”
Matthew 28:18–20 NLT

This is not just a call to attend services but a call to make disciples—people who follow Jesus with their whole lives and help others do the same. Sadly, nearly 40% of the world’s population—about 3.2 billion people—have yet to hear the gospel.

“And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.”
Matthew 24:14 NLT

Jesus will return when every people group has heard the message of the Kingdom. That’s why we believe the Church must return to the original strategy that Jesus gave: making disciples who make disciples.

Barriers to the Mission

Over time, traditions have crept in that hinder this mission. In the 4th century, the Church began to reflect an Old Testament priesthood model—creating a divide between “clergy” and “laity.” This mindset still burdens the Church today, causing many believers to remain passive instead of empowered.

But every believer is called to live the normal Christian life—a life filled with love, faith, boldness, healing, and power by the Holy Spirit.

“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages… they will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
Mark 16:15,17–18 NLT

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”
John 14:12 NLT

Elements of the Gospel

Chronologically:

  • Creation
  • Sin and separation
  • God’s Law
  • Eternal judgment
  • The promise of a Savior
  • Jesus the King and Redeemer
  • The right response:
    • Repent
    • Believe
    • Be baptized
    • Receive the Holy Spirit

“Peter replied, ‘Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”
Acts 2:38 NLT

Conceptually:

  • Deliverance from sin
  • Judgment for the wicked and reward for the righteous
  • Resurrection and new, glorified bodies
  • The Kingdom of God established on the earth
  • A new heaven and new earth
  • Jesus as the cornerstone

The Right Response

The gospel calls us to a real, active response—not passive religion:

✔️ Repent
✔️ Have faith in Jesus
✔️ Be baptized (Romans 6:3 NLT)
✔️ Be filled with the Holy Spirit
✔️ Become a disciple who makes disciples

Not:

✖️ Doing nothing
✖️ Relying on confirmation or church membership
✖️ Simply repeating a sinner’s prayer without transformation

“Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?”
Romans 6:3 NLT

What Will the Kingdom Be Like?

  • Wolves and lambs will live in peace
  • Children will play with snakes unharmed
  • No more war—swords turned into plows
  • No more destruction
  • The Kingdom will last forever

“The Lord will mediate between nations and will settle international disputes.
They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will no longer fight against nation, nor train for war anymore.”

Isaiah 2:4 NLT

“The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
Revelation 11:15 NLT

We Are on This Journey Together

We believe that God is restoring the Church to its original mission and beauty. We don’t claim to have it all figured out, but we’re learning and growing—and we’re glad to walk with you. God is doing something powerful in this generation, and we’re excited to be part of it together.
